Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aeromonk may process information when you use this website or the Aeromonk Android app.

Information collected automatically

When you visit Aeromonk, technical information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics or advertising services. This may include information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, referring website and approximate geographic information.

Cookies and advertising

Aeromonk may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Where advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement and related purposes subject to applicable consent requirements and user choices.

For users in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland, Aeromonk uses an appropriate consent mechanism where required before relevant advertising technologies are used.

Your choices

Where consent is required, users can make choices through the website's consent-management interface. Consent preferences may also be changed where the applicable consent-management system provides that functionality.

Dashboard, passkeys and local storage

Aeromonk's optional dashboard lets you mark airports as flown into or wishlisted. This feature does not use a user account, password or server-side database. The dashboard is unlocked using a passkey created through your browser's WebAuthn support (for example Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key), and the list of airports you save is stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device.

This data is not transmitted to Aeromonk or any third party, and it is not synced between browsers or devices. Clearing your browser's site data, or using the dashboard's "forget this device" option, permanently removes it.

Aeromonk for Android

Aeromonk is also available as an Android app. Like the website's dashboard, the app does not use a user account or password — it is unlocked using your device's fingerprint or other biometric, verified entirely on your device. The airports, aircraft, airlines and trips you track in the app are stored only on your device, are not transmitted to Aeromonk, and do not sync between devices. You can export this data yourself to move it to another device, or permanently remove it using the app's "forget this device" option.

The app uses Firebase Analytics, a Google service, to collect anonymous usage analytics — which features are used, not who is using them, since the app has no user accounts to tie this to. Analytics collection is on by default and can be turned off at any time from the app's Settings screen.

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertising within the dashboard. Google and its partners may use device advertising identifiers, cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement and related purposes, subject to applicable consent requirements and user choices. For users in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland, the app uses an appropriate consent mechanism where required before relevant advertising technologies are used.

Third-party websites

Aeromonk may link to third-party websites, including airport websites and mapping services. Aeromonk is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external websites.
